Emily Gorcenski is a Principal Data Scientist at Thoughtworks Europe and serves as the Data & AI service line lead. A graduate in Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Emily’s expertise lies in Numerical Analysis and Uncertainty Quantification. She has made significant strides in aerospace control systems, signal processing, video game development, and occupational therapy for rehabilitation, amongst others. Her background has given her a different perspective on data engineering and product design, and she’s used her background to help develop Data Mesh theory and practice at Thoughtworks.

Goran MalicDirector Transition Office, ebm-papst Group

After graduating as an industrial engineer in electrical engineering, Goran Malic started his career in the world of management consulting. Here he gained experience in a wide variety of industries for a total of over 15 years. Firstly with his own consultancy and later on at the P3 Group and at TMG Consultants. He now brings this change management knowledge to the ebm-papst Group as Director Transition Office.

Thomas von Lonski manages to unite two disciplines—manufacturing and data. This runs through his academic and professional career. Today, this makes him a valued sparring partner in architecture and modeling issues.

Dr. Gero PresserManaging Director, Dataciders

Dr. Gero Presser is co-founder and managing director of Dataciders GmbH, a leading service provider in German-speaking countries with a focus on data and analytics. As co-founder of QuinScape GmbH, he looks back on more than 20 years of experience in the data industry. After studying computer science, he received his doctorate in decision theory and is, among other things, chairman of the TDWI Roundtable Ruhr Area and lecturer at the Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences.

Ziye completed her B.Comm in international economics and trade at BSFU from 2009 to 2013 and her master’s degree in quantitative analysis in Hong Kong in 2014. After gaining experience in data science and product management at various companies, she joined One Data in 2019 as a Data Science Project Manager and is now our Head of Product Management.

Dr. Andreas Böhm graduated from the University of Passau with a degree in business administration in 2008 and went on to gain project and consulting experience at Accenture and Volkswagen. Early on, he recognized the huge potential of combining statistical methods and IT solutions, and founded his first company in 2009. Dr Böhm was then awarded a PhD in statistics from the University of Passau. He founded One Data GmbH in April 2013, bringing his vision of harnessing the potential of efficiency in data to life.


Stefan RoskosManaging Director, One Data

Dr. Stefan Roskos has been the managing director of One Data since 2016, and is responsible for account management, solution architecture, value consulting, and marketing. Having held positions at Accenture, Fujitsu, and Oracle, he has been positioned at the crossroads between business value and technology for over 20 years. Dr. Roskos received his doctorate in Entrepreneurship at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.
